Pick up
On a designated day, leave your bag outside your door step or leave at a common drop off location and a volunteer driver will pick up your bag!
Repeat!
The volunteer driver will replace your bag with an empty green bag, restarting the process for the next pickup!

Our volunteer drivers are integral to the success of A Simple Gesture. Every two months our drivers head to different parts of the High Country to collect our signature green bags.

Drivers help to bring in thousands of pounds of nonperishable foods to stock our pantry at the Hunger and Health Coalition.

Stay connected to your community!
After our volunteer drivers bring in thousands of pounds food, the sorters get to work!
The job of our volunteer sorters is to go through the food checking expiration dates, crossing off barcodes and then stocking the shelves at the Hunger and Health Coalition.
​
You'll work alongside other passionate community members hoping to end food insecurity. We promise you'll go to bed knowing you made a difference in your community!
